eNaira app lost on Google Playstore 48 hours after launch

Recently launched eNaira app can no longer be found for download on Google Playstore.

This comes barely 48 hours after the eNaira app launch in Abuja as led by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The disappearance was noticed on Wednesday evening when some citizens attempted to download the new product.

While its iOS version can still be accessed on the Apple App Store, there are indications that it has been upgraded to meet new requirements.

Some Nigerians have expressed disappointments over the removal, condemning the CBN for going to the market with an “premature product.”

Before the removal, however, the app had recorded over 100,000 downloads with thousands of reviews complaining of challenges experienced with the use of the app.
