New cases of explosion have been recorded in Maiduguri on Thursday.
This is coming ahead of president Muhammadu Buhari’s planned visit.
About five persons have reportedly been killed by the incident.
According to media sources many others were injured as they run to seek shelter.
It is, however, unclear if the president’s visit would be rescheduled over the development.
